- August 2004-September 2004: United Nations IAEA Headquarters, Vienna. Spanish-English-French simultaneous interpreting in a dummy-booth. I further gained fluency and learned conference interpreting by rehearsing and listening to in-house interpreters.
- September 1999-June 2001: British Home Language School, Madrid. Part-time English teacher for 4–16 year-olds. The emphasis was placed on communication skills. Duties included lesson preparation, engaging students, data inputting and debriefing.

I participate in intercultural events and help international students adapt to the British culture. Duties include masterminding and coordinating events, delivering presentations and engaging with service users in a multilingual and intercultural setting. - July 1998 and 1999 : Liebenzeller Mission, France
I formed part of a French-German team of voluntary workers who organized entertainment for young and elderly people. Duties included drafting and executing events following brain storming sessions with members of the team and engaging with service users. - July 1998 : Christian Camps in Dorset
I worked in a summer camp for young teenagers. I was a tent team member responsible for their general well being and was answerable to the Camp Director.
Recreational Activities:
- Jogging, weightlifting, writing, listening to audio comedy and music. I also learn perseverance through sport and I obtain a sense of fulfilment when I see the result of my learning and writing. Listening to humour also increases my understanding of the different senses of humour that exist in the dissimilar cultures.
